Unfortunately I almost feel the need for a new category on my weblog: Why NOT to move to the US. Things like this, the Patriot Act, and other recent laws and regulations are the main reasons. Still love the people, mentality, politeness, spaaaace, food etc etc. But Freedom and Liberty? It's almost totally being diminished. It's a shame.

the decline of freedoms, rights & privacy, the increase in the greedy gaining more & more power and the rise of conservative & bogus 'religious' morality mentality has been increasingly leading the USA down the gutter... hence, my ever growing desire to emigrate this sadly decadent homeland of mine. :/
funny, except for the spaaaace thing, i love your homeland for the same reasons and more as you love mine. crazy world. or maybe the grass always seems greener on the other side of the pond? :)
