Today my CompTIA certificate arrived to prove that i'm an A+ certified Service Professional. And since i'm allowed to use the official CompTIA logo i might as well do.... so here it is!

Justice Minister Piet Hein Donner released plans today to don’t press charges against all drugs traffickers anymore. First offenders and people who don’t bring really that much, just have to hand over their sweet stuff. So, when visiting The Netherlands you can take a chance, either your visit is free or..... better luck next time. What’s the risk?
Now, Piet Hein Donner makes the same mistake as he did before, when he announced that 'petrol theft' is a relatively minor offence and the police won't do anything about it anymore. For some strange reason there was a sudden sharp increase in petrol theft. You would think that our wise Justice Minister would have learned from that. But no, he announces to let drugs traffickers go, and apparently thinks there won’t be even more than there are already.
Well, in my opinion Piet Hein Donner is a dumb ass loser. Too stupid to be a police officer. And he’s our Justice Minister. uh… help?
By the way. Unlike our Justice Minister i am in no way endorsing drugs trafficking or anything related.

The two officers that came to our house yesterday said we should go to the police station today to file charges againt the neighbour that forced his way in our home yesterday and threatened to kill us. We had to call the station and make an appointment with a detective because our neighbour is a ''known suspect". That means he's been in contact with police before. So this morning i called to see at what time we could come by.
Well, first i had to talk talk talk to convince the officer who anwsered the phone to connect me through with a detective. Then i told the detective why i was calling, she wrote everything down and said she would call me back after reading everything about last night in the computer. She did call back but only to inform me that there was nothing about yesterday in the computer..... uh, let me see... we called 112 (Dutch 911) twice, called directly to the station twice, two officers came to our place and said they would put it all in the system and now they can't find anything? Sigh.... Dutch Police
But, who needs the report from those officers? I don't! We can file charges without them. The detective told me she would talk it over with the IVD, something like Sherrif i guess, the boss. She'll call us back to make an appointment to file charges. She did warn us that what our neighbour did will probably not be enough for the OM (district attorney) to actually DO anything.
Basicly she told me a threat is not a threat untill you're almost dead.....

Today it felt like i have a real McJob. When i started we had a network failure, and it lasted all day. We couldn´t do anything but couldn´t leave either. The network would be up and running "any moment now". Pfff.... it´s amazing how tired you can get from doing nothing all day. Ow, just to give you a honest picture, the firewall prefents us from surfing the internet. I just called our customer service and the network is still down. I really hope everything will work just fine tomorrow...
I want to move as far away as possible from the neighbours we have right now.... can i get a Greencard now?

Like i said before, the Ducth are real traders. And it's helping our economy with a psychedelic boost. You ask, we deliver. Just done celebrating :) Friday i took both the core hardware and the OS technologies tests for the CompTIA A+ certification. And i passed!
Both have a scaled score between 100 and 900. I passed with a 669 for OS technologies and a 712 for hardware. Since i took the test in English i am quite pleased with the results.
The Electronic Diversity Visa site is online. Goto http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ and read the Instructions carefully. Remember that participating is free. This could be your chance to win a Greencard and move to the United States permanently.
We'll take our pictures later this month and i might post them on my weblog. The Photo Check is a handy tool to verify if your photo meets the technical requirements. Be sure that you understand the other specifications and that your photo conforms, or the entry will be disqualified.
